Konstruksi Ironi Kepemimpinan Gideon: Analisis Retorika Naratif atas Tegangan Anti-Monarki dan Proto-Monarki dalam Hakim-Hakim 8:22-35

Hakim-Hakim 8:22-35 menampilkan paradoks antara penolakan Gideon terhadap monarki dan praktik kepemimpinannya yang justru mengarah pada konsolidasi simbolik dan dinastik. Penelitian terdahulu cenderung membaca bagian ini secara moral-teologis atau menyoroti perangkat literer tertentu secara parsial, tanpa menjelaskan mekanisme retoris yang mengintegrasikan deklarasi teokratis, simbolisasi ephod, dan konfigurasi genealogis dalam satu struktur koheren. Artikel ini bertujuan merumuskan konstruksi ironi kepemimpinan Gideon melalui pendekatan kritik retorika ala Muilenburg terhadap bentuk akhir teks Masoretik. Analisis difokuskan pada kohesi leksikal akar kata ma-shal, organisasi komposisional unit epilog, serta relasi antara ujaran dan tindakan dalam progresi naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ironi dibangun melalui pergeseran terstruktur dari klaim kedaulatan YHWH menuju institusionalisasi otoritas yang ambigu, yang akhirnya dibongkar melalui evaluasi pasca kematian. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa teks tidak menawarkan posisi anti-monarki atau proto-monarki yang sederhana, melainkan menghadirkan refleksi kritis terhadap ambivalensi kepemimpinan karismatik dalam konteks transisi pra-monarki Israel.
